Amanda + De'Angelo
Amanda and Dee compliment each other so well. They are the perfect match. The two were married by Dee's mother, Stephaney, at her church New Beginnings Discipleship Ministries. Their day was celebrated exactly how they wanted, surrounded by their family and friends and partying the night away at The Conservatory located in the heart of East Village. Two of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of working with and I am beyond excited for their future and life together.
Amanda wanted De'Angelo's first glimpse of her to be walking towards him down the aisle, which is honestly one of my favorite moments about wedding days. Instead we decided on a first look with Amanda's brother, Spencer...and I'm so glad we did.
...next up was Amanda's grandfather and I promise you, there was not a dry eye in the room when this man saw his beautiful granddaughter for the first time on her wedding day.

...I wasn't kidding when I said these two partied the night away with their loved ones. From their entrance, to dollar dance, to Amanda's bouquet toss, these lovebirds got down and the guests attending their reception followed right along with. Most fun I had in a long time shooting a reception!
Bella Dog
Amanda and Dee also had another member of the fam.
Unfortunately some wedding days are hard to include fur babes, so we made a special trip to stop and visit their baby Bella.
A few weeks after the big day Amanda contacted me thanking me for being able to make time for Bella, because sadly they had to put her down. My heart shattered for them. Honestly, this is why I do what I do. To be able to get a family photo of them just weeks before she was gone makes my heart sad and happy all at the same time.
This was my first wedding of the 2022 season and it was such a gorgeous one to kick things off, I am so honored to have been able to help The McGregor's capture their best day ever.
